To tell their story, we have to travel to the nights of 2006 in Sympathy for the Party, which was the meeting point for these guys from different neighborhoods of Buenos Aires (Argentina), with different tastes and influences, coinciding in something: the desire to make music.
So it was that in 2007 David Malajunta, Christian Von Pino, Petta Bank Robber and Herminio Pablo Demian formed Mannequin - name given to this first formation -. To describe their style I can tell that the music was as heterogeneous as their look and, as they themselves state, "we tend to mix sound and image, individually and collectively". In each of their live shows their looks vacillated between Glam rock, Gothic and New romantic, among others, and so did their compositions, which also seeped Punk, hard rock and Metal, as well to demonstrate that all of them feel, even today in other different bands, the Rock and roll as one of their few influences in common.

They recorded their first and only EP entitled "Mannequin", which contains 4 own songs: Groupies (the "Hit", a punk pop song), Sólo una noche (hard rock), Perversión (new wave 70s) and Deja de jugar (heavy metal). Later, the guitarist decided to leave the band, as they describe it, he "retreat" with the Brothers of the Whip. The replacement would arrive soon. Fer Coprez would join their lines and so begin a new and rename band Mannequin Dynamites. In 2009, after the departure of half of the members to the south of the country, the band dissolves, taking with them the last and scariest Glam punk band from Argentina.

Para contar su historia, hay que remitirse a las noches de 2006 en Sympathy for the Party, que fueron el punto de encuentro para que estos chicos de distintos barrios de Buenos Aires (Argentina), y con diferentes gustos e influencias, coincidieran en algo: las ganas de hacer música.
Así fue que en el 2007 David Malajunta, Pino Von Christian, Petta Bank Robber y Herminio Pablo Demian formaron Mannequin – el nombre que le dieron a esta primera formación-. Para describir su estilo basta con decir que su música fué tan heterogénea como su look y que, según ellos mismos declaran, “tienden a un sonido e imagen, individual y colectivo”. En cada uno de sus shows en vivo sus looks vacilaban entre el Glam rock, el Gótico, el New romantic entre otros, y lo mismo pasaba con sus composiciones, en las que se filtraban también el punk, el hard rock y el metal, además de demostrar que todos ellos sienten, aún hoy en diferentes bandas, al Rock and roll como a una de sus pocas influencias en común.
Grabaron su primer y único EP denominado “Mannequin”, que contiene 4 temas propios: Groupies (el “hit”, que es un bubble pop), Sólo una noche (hard rock), Perversión (un punk inglés de los 70) y Deja de jugar (heavy metal). Mas tarde, el guitarrista decidió partir hacia un, tal como ellos lo describen, “retiro espiritual” con los Hermanos del Látigo. El reemplazo llegaría pronto. Fer Coprez se uniría a sus líneas y comenzarían así una nueva etapa renombrados Mannequin Dynamites. En 2009, luego de la partida de la mitad de los miembros al sur del país, se disuelven. Llevándose con ellos a la última y más temible banda de Glam punk de la Argentina.
